
David Arcement, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech. He is nearing completion of a Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech.
He has provided individual, family, and couples counseling at two community counseling centers, two college counseling centers and an adult correctional facility, David, a recent transplant to Cobb County, GA, was born and grew up in Baton Rouge, LA.
David currently counsels with couples, families, adults and adolescents. He is also available for seminars and workshops in area churches, businesses, and schools. His counseling interests include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, anger management, substance abuse, relationship concerns, career decision-making and development, and stress management. He considers himself eclectic, incorporating aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential therapy and hypnosis. As a Christian, he believes in integrating the client's spiritual life in the counseling process.

As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, David Arcement's rates for 45-minute counseling sessions start at $60. Please be prepared to pay for your first appointment and to discuss fees for the subsequent sessions, if there is a financial concern.
